We made it and are anchored behind Cabo Tres Puntas across the Bay from
Livingston. We were able to sail until about noon when the wind died and
we began motoring so we could get anchored before dark. We got the hook
down, had a beer and it is dark.
What a great passage. 83 hours since we left the dock in Grand Cayman
and we motored a total of 24. We could have motored less but the night
of the squalls we motored rather than be caught with sails up in bad
conditions and he had to motor out of North Sound from the marina. We
kept a pace to match our smaller buddy boat.
Waves were mostly as predicted 1-2m with some higher. Wind was mostly in
the 15-20 range but gusts to 35 at times in squalls. But the day we left
and today we had very light winds and with light winds dead behind it
gets difficult to make progress.
Tomorrow we go across the Bay and check-in and go up the river to our
marina.
